PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Fall is almost here and you can feel the excitement of another great year. Summer is fun but there is no place like home, Forest Hill .

Plan to join us this year for some of our educational, creative, and networking meetings. Learn about our trees and how we can sustain our Urban Forest. Join us in our garden for plant exchanges and ideas for improving our gardens and neighborhood.

Take time to come to our book review in November and catch up on the newest literature that gives us many eyes to our complex world. Come to our party in October for some good old American folklore and tasty food! Bring a friend or call a neighbor, we would love to see all of you at the September Luncheon!

Jack Gazzola, father of Eve Wertsch, passed away this Summer.

Upcoming Events:
Forest Hill Association Picnic, Sunday, September 30, 2007. More information to follow from the FHA. The garden club will have an information table at the picnic.

Friday, October 26, 2007, marks the date for our annual Fall Party. This year we will enjoy a HARVEST MOON BOX SOCIAL. Please pack a pretty box or basket with you own salad, vegetable and dessert and we will provide a hot entree and bread, wine and other beverages. $15 per person. Volunteers for set up and clean up WELCOME and NEEDED! Details to follow in the October bulletin. Chairs: Eva Monroe (753-0705) and Marica Salma (753-2852)
