2 0 0 8 NEWSLETTER PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: How great it was to take the time to play, lunch and visit. Many of our members felt the same way because we had tables of bridge, dominos and scrabble as well as tables of visitors. Many thanks to Louise Bacigalupi, Helen Scholten, Mary Hansen and Sima Talai for helping with lunch. The flowers donated by Anna Bolechowski were perfect for the day. What a cozy clubhouse we had for our January meeting. A big thanks to the Forest Hill Association for making it happen! A reminder that in February the nominating committee will be formed and meet to recommend officers for the 2008-2009 term. Their recommendations will be voted on at the April 2008 general meeting. Play time continues for our February 11th general meeting. Read our events schedule for times and activities. Remember visitors are welcome! Monday, February 4, 2008 09:30 AM Refreshments 10:00 AM Meeting for executive board and standing chairs Monday, February 11, 2008 12:00 Noon Meeting 12:30 PM Refreshments and Lunch. RSVP (see notes) 01:00-03:00 PM CRAFTS! Bring your favorite craft or two to work on or to show off. There will be quilters, knitters, and scrap-bookers. NOTES Arts and Crafts Projects: If you want to help out by putting together a project, just let Dottie know (dottiemchugh@yahoo.com or 681-5750). Arts and Crafts Lunch RSVP: Please contact Louise Bacigalupi (753-2262) or Helen Scholten (566-0980) to RSVP for the February 11th, 2008 General Meeting. We would like to have a headcount so we can plan the food for the luncheon. March 17th General Meeting: “An Irish Ethnic Celebration” Dinner/Meeting.
