PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:
Our January program was "Textile from India", presented by Marvie Lee, former Board Member of the Textile Arts Council of San Francisco. Marvie showed slides of a variety of textiles. Most importantly, she described her experience when she toured Northwestern India with the Textile Arts Council where she visited workrooms and shops, museums and archeological sites. Many thanks go to Clorinda Aldrich and Anna Bolechowski for organizing a delightful presentation. Additionally special thanks go to Donna Earhart, Marcia Salma for the refreshments; special thanks to Donna Haynes and Andy Mesquit for the technical support. And of course, a most special thanks to Nancy Hagosian for the fabulous floral arrangements.

NOTES
Don't miss this month event: A Store To Remember.. I MAGNIN & CO.
Who can forget this beautiful San Francisco icon on Union Square? If you missed or miss the experience of shopping at the most fabled Grand Dame department store owned by one of SF's most historic retail families, then join us on February 16, 2015.
James Thomas Mullane, author of "A Store to Remember" will regale you and all the ladies who once perused I MAGNIN's famous departments with historic and sometimes hysterical tales of the City. Please join James, and I MAGNIN's own neighborhood icon Loma McNulty as we revisit an era of white gloves and hats, ruled by the matriarch of the Magnin Clan - Mary Ann Cohen Magnin.
Formal shopping attire from the fabled I MAGNIN era encouraged!
Coffee Crunch cake ala Blums Bakery to follow. Ne plus ultra, Madame!
Upcoming March Event:
3/16 - Spring Community Service: Succulent Bouquets for Veterans Hospitals. Chaired by Darlene Hartman.
