PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE: Greetings to all Garden Club members! We trust that your summer was fun-filled with lots of sunshine, and you are now back (into the fog) and ready to participate in the many activities and events of the upcoming year. Please come to our annual September luncheon and meeting on Monday, September 18th, 11:00 AM at the clubhouse. At the luncheon, you will receive the 2017-2018 Calendar of Events (which many of you have been waiting for.) Many thanks to members of the new Board who have worked hard over the summer to get all these fantastic events firmed up for the coming year! This is the perfect time to get together with friends and neighbors and to volunteer your services. Also, we are happy to let you know that our Plant Cart will be rolled out, and it will be set to open for our Plant Exchange on the 18th! So please BRING a plant (in a container) to the meeting and TAKE a plant home with you. This is a terrific way to exchange yours for another! Contact Kathe Farrell(269-2876) for details. Nancy Hagosian and Anna Bolechowski would like to call on members who have fuchsias in their gardens to please bring a few cuttings with blooms on so they can add them to the table centerpieces. These beautiful centerpieces are always for sale, so don't forget to bring your checkbook. We also want to remind you to start collecting articles and bring them to our Community Service and Rummage Sale in the spring. We look forward to seeing each of you on the 18th. Please renew your membership, by September 24, so your name can be included in our new Roster.
