PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:

Kudos to Eva Monroe a multi-talented member, friend and neighbor who can do it all! After treating us with a tremendous luncheon in September, she came right back and gave us an amazing demo of Fall Floral design in October.
A photo slideshow of the event can be viewed here.

Many thanks to the supporting team of wonderful and hardworking folks: First and foremost, our dear Old Goat Mike Monroe, who came very early to help do all the heavy lifting of moving tables, chairs, giant buckets of flowers and water. To Angela Carnegie for doing the set up and assisting during the demo and sweeping at the very end, Kathleen Fong and Darlene Hartman for your delicious contributions to the refreshment table. And last but not least, a big thank to Nancy Hagosian, our Flowers & House Committees Chair for the beautiful bouquet greeting us at the entrance and for staying very late to do all the dishes as our kitchen helper was not available. We are so grateful!

We look forward to seeing each of you on the 12th for our annual Book Fair and Food Drive, see attached flyer for details. Wreath-making Day is on the 30th, a fun and happy event. Also, see flyer for the upcoming Holiday Party on December 3rd. We encourage you to send in your reservation early as seating is limited. We expect a big turn out this year. Don't miss it!
