PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:

The Art of Hat Wearing presented by JR Neurge was a big hit in February. We had a huge turnout. Everyone came all dressed up and most members were wearing hats or fascinators. The room was abuzz with excitement like we were going to a big tea party. "Hat'titude" was what you got when JR expertly tilted your hat just a tad to a certain degree to give you a completely different look. It was a lot of fun. Some of us managed to pick up some new head pieces to wear to the up-coming Strawberry Social in May.

The refreshment buffet was elegant and delicious. Many thanks to Ingeborg McGlynn for the freshly baked coffee cake, Anna Bolechowski for the delectable handmade canapés, Yen Bachmeier for the tantalizingly tasty kuchen, cheese board and fruit platter. All were provided for our nourishment after the program. Our gratitude to dear Old Goat Mel for the gorgeous Valentine flowers and for helping with the set-up and take-down.

The Nominating committee has been formed. The members includes Louise Bacigalupi (chairman), Pansy Waller, Dena Aslanian-Williams, Maria-Elena Hanley and Lina Pritchard.

The March Rummage Sale promises a fabulous treasure hunt for hard to find items like beautiful original oil paintings, exquisite handcrafted jewelry, Micra-Pac coats, silk scarves, and many more... See flyer attached and do come early for best selections.
