PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Welcome back to all club members! I trust that you and your families have had a pleasant summer filled with sunshine and fun, and you are now eager to participate in the many activities and events of the upcoming year. I am humbled to serve my first term as your president and excited to celebrate a special year with you as the Garden Club turns eighty years old! To begin the new activity year, please come to our annual September luncheon and meeting on Monday, September 19th, at the clubhouse. Here is the 2011-2012 Calendar of Events which many of you have been asking for. Many thanks to Sally Kipper and her Program Committee who have worked hard over the summer to get all these fantastic events firmed up for the coming year! This is the perfect time to get together with friends and neighbors and to volunteer your services. Also, I am pleased to let you know that we are bringing back the Plant Cart. So do bring your plants, cuttings, baskets or vases. This is a terrific way to exchange yours for another! Contact Darlene Hartman (731-4885) for details.
