BULLETIN

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Greetings to all Garden Club members! I trust that your summer was fun-filled with lots of sunshine, and you are now back (into the fog) and ready to participate in the many activities and events of the upcoming year. Please come to our annual September luncheon and meeting on Monday, September 17th, 11:30 AM at the clubhouse.

Attached is the 2012-2013 Calendar of Events which many of you have been waiting for. Many thanks to Sally Kipper and her Program Committee who have worked hard over the summer to get all these fantastic events firmed up for the coming year! This is the perfect time to get together with friends and neighbors and to volunteer your services.

Also, I am happy to let you know that our Plant Cart has been revamped, and it is set to re-open for our Plant Exchange on the 17th! Thanks to Darlene and Les Hartman who did the fine renovating work. So please bring a plant (in a container) to the meeting and take a plant home with you. This is a terrific way to exchange yours for another! Contact Darlene (731-4885) for details. Nancy Hagosian would like to call on members who have fuchsias in their gardens, please bring a few cuttings with blooms on Sunday so she can add them to the table centerpieces. I also want to remind you to collect toiletry articles and bring them to our Community Service in the spring.

I look forward to seeing each of you on the 17th. Bring a new neighbor!
