PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Our annual September luncheon on the 17th welcomed back many happy, familiar faces as well as new ones. I would like to express my appreciation to Kathleen Anderson and her co-chair Eva Monroe for skillfully organizing and running the whole event. Also thanks to many helping hands in the committee, Donna Earhart, Kathe Farrell, Mary Hanson, Dottie McHugh, Helen Scholten and Pansy Waller, who made all the work flow effortlessly. We give praise to our chef of the day, Kathleen Anderson, for the delicious curry chicken salad.

A BIG thank goes to Darlene Hartman for unveiling our newly renovated plantcart with brand new wheels, fresh coat of paint, and a beautiful handcrafted canopy. See photo. The “plant exchange” organized by Darlene was a big success.
Decoration credit goes to, even in her abscence, Nancy Hagosian for the floral arrangements.

October is filled with cultural and oenophilic activities. Be sure to join us on the presentation of "Rudolf Nureyev: A Life in Dance" on the 15th and don’t forget to sign up for the Fall Party on the 26th when we will have a wine and cheese tasing presented by Gary Marcaletti, purveyor of the San Francisco Wine Trading Company.
