PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

We opened the month of October with a culturally rich and insightful program on Rudolf Neureyev: A Life in Dance, presented by Sharon Walton, docent of the FAMSF, followed by a sumptuous afternoon tea. We received many lavish and appreciative comments from the members. The event was planned by Eva Monroe and expertly implemented by members of her team . Flowers designed by Nancy Hagosian. Many thanks to for an informative horticultural talk, to Darlene Hartman and her plant cart for the geranium and succulent exchange.

We ended the month with a beautiful fall party featuring wine and cheese tasting with Gary Marcaletti, proprietor of the San Francisco Wine Trading Company and purveyor of fine wines and spirits. Everyone who came loved the food, the wine and the pleasure of visiting with friends and neighbors in a relaxing ambience. I would like to express my appreciation to co-chairs Eva Monroe and Clorinda Aldrich. The two faithful “old goats” Mike Monroe and David Aldrich, and helping hands from Pansy & Richard Waller, Nancy Hagosian and Donna Earhart. View a couple of photos.

Thank you, Amy Quirk and Michael Lehmann, for your generous contribution of the silk flowers and ornaments. They really enhanced the autumn design in the clubhouse.

This year, our annual Holiday Dinner Dance is on Monday December 3rd. I invite you to kick off the holiday season with the Garden Club and come with your guests to eat, drink, be merry and dance through the night with live music in our beautiful clubhouse! Black tie preferred. Only $90 per person. A bargain! I encourage you to sign up now as space is limited. See flyer for more details.

10:00 AM	Design and assemble your own wreath.

Deck the Halls:
Please join us as we decorate the club house and Christmas tree on Sunday, December 2, at 10:00 am. Lunch will be provided by president Bachmeier. Contact Pansy Waller 681-1377 , if you plan to help so we can have a headcount to plan the lunch.
