PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:

Happy Holidays! We are ending 2013 with our beautiful annual Holiday Season festivities. Our first event will be wreath making, to be held at 10 AM, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4th. This is a change of date for this event, so it might be good to make a note of the new date. It is being held on Wednesday, this year, not on Thursday. All greens for wreath making are provided and the beautiful decorations made, will be sold on Sunday, December 8th.

The Forest Hill Association holiday tree is set up and decorated, thanks to the Waller Family and friends. And the Clubhouse is set up for the annual sumptuous Holiday Dinner Dance—“Making Spirits Bright”--to be held MONDAY, December 9th, at 6:00 PM. The Children’s Party, hosted by the Forest Hill Association, will be held TUESDAY, December 10th, at 5:00 PM. December will be a busy time, indeed—and FUN, as always!

We would like to thank Eva Monroe and her committee for the program following our November 18th general meeting. Everyone enjoyed the table setting event. It is fun to share our treasures with our members. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Toni Buckley and Ellie Barry for chairing the Food Drive—another successful year through their efforts. Their hard work is most appreciated by the Forest Hill Garden Club.

2014 will be our 83rd year for the Forest Hill Garden Club. We will kick off the New Year with the tour of a true San Francisco landmark—The Palace Hotel. For details of the event, check the January bulletin or call Clorinda Aldrich, chairperson for the event.
